Scott Sloat

Scott Sloat was born and raised in Conway, AR. His passion for design was first ignited during family visits to the timeless cities of Savannah, Charleston, and Natchez, where he was inspired by the classic Greek Revival architecture. During college at UCA in Conway, he interned with Georg Andersen Associates and continued to do so while attending the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Upon graduation in 1995, Sloat joined the renowned Robert A.M. Stern Architects as an interior designer, where he was ultimately promoted to Interiors Associate. His work there included hotels, performing arts centers, educational facilities and residences throughout the U.S.

In 2000, Sloat expanded his career, joining David Kleinberg Design Associates where he was named the firm’s first Senior Associate in 2008, and became an Equity Partner in 2016. Highlights include important estates in Beverly Hills, Aspen, Southampton, Palm Beach, and New York, a private golf club and corporate offices and jets. Stylistically his work ranges from updated traditional to clean and modern, but always capturing the spirit of the client.
