DKDA Names Design Equity Partners

David Kleinberg, founder of David Kleinberg Design Associates has announced a corporate expansion naming principle designers, all long-standing employees, as equity partners. This structure will be formally enhanced to add stock options, allocated based on years of employment, for the partners giving them stake in the company, a unique initiative on the interior design industry.

Those being named equity partners in DKDA, in order of tenure are: Scott Sloat, Sean Matijevich, Lance Scott, Christina Maroni, Matthew Bemis.

“I feel fortunate to steward what I believe to be one of the strongest talent pools in the industry and my goal is to stop forward and create a platform that will enable them to continue our history of collaboration. Prior to starting DKDA twenty plus years ago, my early career yielded a sixteen-year tenure at Parish-Hadley which, looking back, was most extraordinary because during that time there was so much talent under one roof. When I left Parish-Hadley, one of my guiding mantras was to always be as generous and supportive a boss as Albert Hadley had been to me. This ongoing reflection motivated me to create an incentivized business scenario where my own talented group could stay together. I want to foster these professionals to further establish and grow their individual careers under the umbrella of DKDA, with ownership in the company,” shares Kleinberg.
